Hosting
Hosting, monitoring, backups and small changes for the sites we build — €25 per month, so it keeps working long after launch.
Hosting
A website is not finished when it goes live. This plan keeps it working, and it covers the things that actually go wrong in the years afterwards.
€25 per month (excl. VAT), per site, on the infrastructure we already run.
What is included
- Hosting on our own infrastructure, with HTTPS that renews itself.
- Uptime monitoring, so we hear about a problem before you do.
- Backups of the content and the build: a mistake becomes a restore instead of a rebuild.
- Updates, with every build re-verified on accessibility, SEO and transfer size before it ships — the same checks the site passed on the day it launched.
- Domain and DNS kept in order.
- Small changes: up to one hour per month for text, images, prices and pages of the same shape.
- Support by email, answered within one working day.
What is not included
New functionality, a redesign or a new template. Those are quoted as their own piece of work, which is what keeps this a maintenance plan rather than an open-ended retainer.
What €25 per month is worth
€25 is not a floor price, and we do not sell it as one. It is what it costs to keep a site running without losing money on it.
A hosting package at a Dutch provider costs €4 to €16 per month once the introductory term ends, and that buys server space only. A maintenance plan for a CMS site starts around €27 and runs to €70 for a simple site, because plugins, themes and core updates have to be walked through every month. Our sites are static — no application server, no database, no CMS to upgrade. That work does not exist here, which is why this can stay at €25.
It will not get cheaper. Server memory roughly doubled in price over the past year and hosting prices have risen at nearly every provider. The static design absorbs that; on a CMS site the same increase lands on the client.
Add it to your project — it is easiest to arrange together with the site itself.
