How we work

The four steps from first email to handover — what happens in each, what you get, and what it costs before anything starts.

How we work

Four steps. You can stop after any of them, and you know the price before the work begins.

Four steps: a free conversation, a fixed quote, phases you can stop between, and a handover where the code and domain stay yours

1. A conversation, no charge

You describe the problem — a site that loads slowly, a process living in spreadsheets, a deadline you have to hit. I ask questions until I understand what "done" means.

You get an honest read on whether it is worth building, whether I am the right person for it, and roughly what it would cost.

2. A fixed quote

I write down what will be built, what it deliberately leaves out, what it costs and when it is delivered. If it turns out to be more work than that, we agree the change before it is done — not on the invoice.

You get one page, a fixed price and a date.

3. Built in phases

Every phase ends with something you can open in a browser and click through. Each build is verified before it ships: accessibility, SEO and transfer size are checked, not assumed.

You get a working build to review, and a short note of what changed.

4. Handover

The source code goes into your repository, and the domain and hosting stay in your name — unless you take hosting with me.

You get the code, a handover note explaining how to run it, and a plan for keeping it running.

What I need from you

  • one decision maker — the person who can say yes;
  • content, or the budget to have it written;
  • access to whatever it has to work with: a CRM, a payment provider, an old site or database;
  • a deadline, if there is a real one.

How long it takes

The quote states the date, and the phases are sized so you can stop between them. A small website is measured in weeks; an application in months, because the parts that surprise you are always in the integrations.

What it costs

Websites from €1000, web applications quoted per project, consulting at €95 per hour, and hosting at €25 per month once it is live — all of it on the services page.

Tell me about your project. The first conversation is free, and it usually answers the question on its own.
